The moment we arrived, we felt transported back in time to a paradise like no other. (Santorini in the tropics a century ago before the arrival of cruise ships and tons of tourists?) The whitewashed villas are perched on a hill, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant pink bougainvillea. The expansive views of the water, endless skies, and scarcely inhabited islands were breathtaking.
